I'm Lauren Preston, a multi-hyphenate in the fashion industry. With a decade-long journey working with elite brands such as Stella McCartney, Burberry, and The Webster, I have honed my business acumen and polished my VIP relationship skills. These experiences have led me to launch LDP Consulting, my successful image design and brand creative agency, which has been thriving for the past four years.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as a celebrity stylist for notable figures such as Nas, Usher, Amy Sherald, and Bill Burr. Each collaboration has allowed me to refine my skills and carve out a specialty niche in Los Angeles, where I am based. Working closely with VIP clients, executives, and CEOs, I have become known for elevating their personal style and personal brand with elegance and ease. Most recently, Lauren served as Head of Curation and Content for LA Fashion Week In Los Angeles In October of 2023.

As a fashion editor, brand curator, editorial stylist, and engaging content creator, I have always been an advocate for myself and my clients. I believe that fashion and personal branding are powerful tools that can enhance confidence and open doors to new opportunities. By combining my keen eye for aesthetics with my ability to create compelling narratives, I strive to empower individuals and brands to authentically express themselves.

In 2024, I am excited to take my career to new heights and broaden my scope of work and portfolio. Therefore, I am actively seeking representation with a prestigious agency. I am eager to collaborate with talent and fashion agents who share my passion for creating impactful experiences through style and branding.

“Working with Lauren is like having your best girlfriend in your closet, just with a sharper eye & better taste”.

– Elaine Welteroth

The Service

During a virtual or in-person appointment, Lauren will review the contents of your closet. Together, decisions are made around what to keep, what to alter, and what to get rid of. And if you’d like, Lauren is able to instantly remove the clutter from your home. Whether it's donating to those in need, reselling, or exploring archiving, she has you covered. She shares her organizing methodology customized for your needs, your space, and your lifestyle. Lauren will Identify holes in the closet & make buy recommendations. One of her clients shared that the best part of the experience is the digital lookbook of outfits that Lauren created from existing items in her closet.

“It’s great to have your hangers beautifully spaced and everything in its place, but it’s a total bonus to have something to take away, to remind me of the great outfits I can build when the occasion arises”.

– Katie

Benefits

For many of us, our clutter can paralyze us. An organized space is an instant mood booster and leaves you with a major sense of accomplishment! We all know it’s easier said than done, but let’s get to it! We all need and deserve that extra eye to coach us through a process, that honestly can be an extremely daunting task to take on.

A closet reorganization creates a clearing for lightness, in our closets, and in our heads.  Once items are removed, you have better access to what you love, and you’re left with a feeling of ease. Lauren recommends a closet overhaul at least 2-4 times a year to support your seasonal transitions.

Then for the fun part… shopping! Once you purge, you’re able to see the pieces you love and easily identify any gaps in your wardrobe, whether it be the essential motorcycle jacket or classic trench. You then get to give yourself a pat on the back and justify splurging on that cashmere sweat suit you’ve been dreaming of lounging in that has been sitting in your online shopping cart for the past few days.

Why Now?

Take the opportunity to reflect on who it is that you want to be. Think about the pieces in your wardrobe that you’ll wear when putting your best foot forward. Whether from the waist up for your zoom job interview or that first outfit you’ll wear to your first and hopefully last blind date.

“Now is the time to take a bit of inventory and think about what you still have space for in your life, what should undergo reinvention, and what should be let go”.

– Lauren Preston

Your clothes are literally the fabric of your life and your closet is full of stories. Maybe it’s the dress you wore on your first date or the first designer suit you ever purchased. When you think of your clothes, it can be a very nostalgic experience, especially now.

“Cleansing your closet is a totally spiritual experience…transformative even”. Organizing your closet is not just about color coding and folding your knits in perfect squares. It is an assessment of where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to go.”
